Baina Cashmere selects only the finest cashmere from the cold highlands of China, primarily sourced from regions such as Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Qinghai, and Tibet, with altitudes ranging from 1,000 to 4,500 meters.

In particular, some goats on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau live in extreme environments at elevations above 4,000 meters. To survive the harsh cold, they develop a soft and dense undercoat that helps regulate body temperature. This unique ecological environment gives rise to cashmere that is globally recognized for its exceptional quality—renowned for its softness, durability, and superior insulation.

Each spring, during the goats’ natural molting season, we gently comb the undercoat, causing no harm to the animals.

This ensures both the goats' well-being and the sustainability and eco-friendliness of our cashmere supply. The fibers used by Baina typically have a fineness of less than 15.5 microns, with coarse-spun fibers measuring around 34 mm in length and fine-spun fibers about 40 mm. To enhance yarn quality and reduce pilling, we insist on sourcing raw fibers from the same region and use only the top four combings to ensure uniform length and overall consistency.

We operate two state-of-the-art dehairing facilities, equipped with 110 dehairing machines and staffed by 83 skilled technicians.

Our team oversees the entire combing process to ensure efficient and high-quality production. Baina produces up to 350 tons of dehaired cashmere annually, including about 100 tons of premium white cashmere, widely used in high-end yarns and garments to meet the diverse needs of global customers.

A deep respect for raw materials and an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship form the foundation of Baina’s quality.

We are dedicated to providing our clients with world-class cashmere products that are soft, durable, eco-conscious, and sustainable.
